Theresa Ochoa

Theresa Ochoa, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. Her research focuses on global health challenges, particularly diarrhea in children, protective factors in human milk (e.g., lactoferrin), enteric pathogens, and neonatal sepsis in developing countries, with additional expertise in pneumococcus-related studies.
