Theodore V Arevalo

Dr. Theodore V. Arevalo is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. He joined as an Assistant Professor in 1998 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016. His clinical expertise spans Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Aerospace Medicine, and Hyperbaric Medicine. He completed residencies at Wilford Hall Medical Center (Internal Medicine, Aerospace Medicine, Hyperbaric Medicine) and earned his MD from Baylor College of Medicine (1992) and BS in Biology (Summa Cum Laude) from St. Mary's University (1987).

Dr. Arevalo is a recognized educator, receiving awards such as the 'Top 20 Preceptor Award' (2012) and 'Outstanding Faculty Medicine Clerkship' (2011, 2012).
