Dr. Theodore (Ted) S. Rappaport is the David Lee/Ernst Weber Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering, New York University. He serves as the founding director of NYU WIRELESS, a multidisciplinary research center. His expertise spans wireless communications theory, millimeter-wave/terahertz systems, radio propagation, and energy efficiency. Rappaport is renowned as the 'father of 5G millimeter wave' for pioneering millimeter-wave applications in cellular and Wi-Fi systems.
