Theodore Gup

Theodore Gup is the Eugene M. Lang Visiting Professor for Issues of Social Change at Swarthmore College, affiliated with the Lang Center for Civic & Social Responsibility and the Department of English Literature. He teaches ENGL 006, 'Investigative Journalism as an Agent of Social Change,' and mentors student journalists across diverse media formats.

A former student of Classics and English at Brandeis University and Trinity College (Dublin), Gup graduated from Case Western Reserve Law School and was admitted to the DC bar. His writings have appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, National Geographic, and other major outlets.
