Theodore Day

Theodore Day is a Professor of Finance at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas, where he has held various academic and administrative roles since 1990. He previously served as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at UT Dallas and Vanderbilt University, respectively.

Dr. Day has chaired multiple Ph.D. dissertation committees and served as Coordinator for the Ph.D. Program in Finance from 1992 to 2005. His extensive university service includes leadership roles in faculty search, teaching evaluation, academic policy, and library and facilities planning. He has also acted as a referee for top-tier journals including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies.
