Thelonious Starnes

Thelonious Starnes serves as Adjunct Lecturer and Master Electrician in Howard University's Department of Theatre Arts. An active professional designer, his industry work spans lighting, sound, and projection design for theater productions.

Recipient of the 2020 Helen Hayes Award for sound design, he integrates professional practice with technical instruction. Over two decades of service, he has developed curriculum bridging artistic vision and technical execution in live performance.
