Thabo van Woudenberg

Dr. Thabo van Woudenberg is a post-doctoral researcher and scientific coordinator at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (Erasmus University Rotterdam), specializing in behavioral change interventions targeting adolescent health through social networks. Holding a PhD from Radboud University (2020, Cum Laude), his work focuses on leveraging online platforms to design responsible health campaigns addressing physical activity, nutrition, and pandemic-related behaviors. He previously contributed to the MyMovez project (Radboud University) and currently explores cross-country behavioral determinants of health choices.

His research interests span social network interventions, digital health communication, and adolescent psychology. Notable contributions include studies on parental consent frameworks in school-based research (2024) and the role of media in fostering prosocial behavior during crises (2023).

van Woudenberg has received the Dragon's Den Seed Fund (2021) and contributed to 27 peer-reviewed publications. His work integrates behavioral science with computational methods, such as agent-based modeling for health intervention design.
