معرفی
Dr. Miranda Lutz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on neurocognitive mechanisms in psychopathology, particularly using event-related potentials (ERPs) to study performance monitoring and error processing in individuals with externalizing disorders.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and developmental psychopathology. She investigates how neurophysiological markers such as error-related negativity (ERN) and error positivity (Pe) are altered in children and adults with externalizing problems, including ADHD and conduct disorders. Her work often employs advanced statistical methods such as meta-analysis and narrative reviews to synthesize evidence across studies.
The trends in her recent publications show a strong emphasis on ERP-based biomarkers of psychopathology, with a particular focus on externalizing disorders. Her research integrates cognitive tasks (e.g., Flanker, Stroop, Go/Nogo) with neurophysiological data to understand the neural underpinnings of maladaptive behaviors. She also contributes to psychotherapy research through meta-analytic evaluations of progress feedback in clinical settings.
