Tetsuya Takeno is an Instructor at the University of Arizona, where he teaches Japanese language and music. His academic work bridges the fields of linguistics and music composition, with a focus on the interplay between language and musical structure.

Takeno's research explores the connections between language and music, particularly how a composer's native language influences their musical output.
