Jeremy Brunk is an Associate Professor of Percussion & Music Theory at Millikin University, where he has been teaching since 1999. He serves as Principal Timpanist of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra and Acting Principal Percussion with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra in Springfield.

Dr. Brunk's research and artistic work focuses on percussion pedagogy, marimba composition, and contemporary classical music. He has composed music for the Millikin Percussion Ensemble and collaborated with artists like Danish solo percussionist Ronni Kot Wenzell and composer James Romig.
His publications include three books of Préludes for solo marimba (Edition Svitzer), and his debut CD "Lost and Found" is forthcoming. His performance history includes premieres of modern compositions and collaborations with specialized artists like Eric Hines.
