Tess McKenzie

Tess McKenzie is a Lecturer in Design at Goldsmiths, University of London, with a background in sculpture, video, sound art, and theatre design. She earned an MFA in Sculpture from the Slade School of Fine Art (2016) and a BFA from the Victorian College of the Arts (2009). Her practice explores the intersection of theatre and design through choreography, script, and collage, examining the human body's relationship with its environment.

She co-leads the MA Design Expanded Practice Culture & Ecologies Studio and teaches in both BA and MA Design programs. McKenzie has exhibited internationally, with solo shows including 'Nettie crotch' at BUS Projects and 'Fogging' at Seventh Gallery.
