Megan Broadmeadow is a Lecturer in Art at the University of the West of England, where she is affiliated with the College of Arts, Technology and Environment and the Digital Cultures Research Center. As an active artist and curator, she creates immersive and interactive exhibitions that incorporate video, VR, sculpture, performance, and digital installation technologies. Her work often resembles sci-fi film sets, utilizing interactive technologies like Holographic LED videos to create location-specific immersive experiences that engage audiences in unique ways.

Broadmeadow's research centers on immersive exhibition making that blends physical and digital realms. She investigates how interactive technologies transform spaces and audience experiences, often exploring connections between religious epiphanies and alien contact narratives. Her work draws from science fiction, folk customs, and carnival traditions to create environments where belief systems, identity, and alternate realities intersect. She frequently employs projection mapping, VR, and custom-built installations to craft multi-sensory experiences that challenge conventional exhibition formats.

As an educator, Broadmeadow has taught at Oxford Brookes University and Arts University Bournemouth, where she served as assistant to the head of 3rd Year. She received professional development through The Virtual Production Bootcamp hosted by MyWorld to enhance her teaching in digital studio technology. Her major touring exhibition SEEK PRAY ADVANCE (2018-2019) received Arts Council England funding and traveled to multiple UK venues including Southwark Park Galleries, Green Man Festival, and QUAD Derby.
Broadmeadow co-owns D-UNIT, a project space and immersive design studio in South Bristol, which provides exhibition opportunities for local and national artists. She has directed significant projects including SPUR.WORLD (a year-long online residency for 100 graduate artists) and served as Guest Director for the LLAWN festival of live art in Llandudno. Her work frequently involves collaboration with technicians, performers, and other artists to realize complex immersive environments that merge artistic vision with technical execution.
