Terry Martin

Terry Martin is Associate Professor in the School of Stage and Screen at Western Carolina University. A professional scenic designer, scenic artist and properties master, he has extensive regional credits including Cleveland Opera, Great Lakes Theater, Cleveland Institute of Music, and Dobama Theater. His New York credits include Circle Repertory Theater and Lincoln Center Institute.

Martin's teaching focuses on scenic design and technology, scenic painting, properties construction, period styles, and directing. His research explores entertainment technology, interactive theatre, and scenography as instruments of social change. He holds an MFA in Scenic Design and Technology from Kent State University.
