Terry Lilley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Race/Gender/Sexuality Studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Delaware. His research focuses on intersectional analyses of social justice organizing, public policy, and issues like poverty, sex work, violence prevention, and sociological theory.
Dr. Lilley has received notable awards, including the 2015 Provost Teaching Excellence Award and the 2012 Most Accessible Faculty Award from DREAM. He teaches courses such as 'RGS 100: Race, Gender, Sexuality, and Class,' 'Violence and Gender,' and 'Poverty as Public Policy.'
His work bridges theory and practice, emphasizing social justice advocacy and policy critique. Recent publications include a co-authored article in Violence Against Women, exploring gender-blind sexism and rape myth acceptance.
