Terry Hartman is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Emory University, affiliated with the Winship Cancer Institute, Emory Prevention Research Center, and HERCULES Exposome Research Center. She holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota, an MPH from Harvard University, and completed the NCI Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program.
Her research focuses on diet’s role in cancer and chronic disease prevention, emphasizing improved dietary assessment methods. She previously directed the Diet Assessment Center at Penn State University and has over 25 years of experience in nutritional epidemiology.
