Terry Goldie is a Professor in the Department of English at York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. He specializes in Canadian and postcolonial literatures, with research interests in gender studies, gay studies, sexuality studies, and literary theory. His work includes influential publications such as The Man Who Invented Gender (2014), Queersexlife (2008), and co-editing An Anthology of Canadian Native Literature in English (2005).
Goldie holds a Ph.D. from Queen's University, an M.A. from Carleton University, and a B.A. from the University of Saskatchewan. His scholarship bridges literary analysis with interdisciplinary studies of identity, sexuality, and colonialism.
