Terry Cox

Terry Cox, D.P.T., serves as Division Head, Program Director, and Professor in the Physical Therapy program at Southwest Baptist University. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and holds Fellow status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.

His educational credentials include:

Dr. Cox's research focuses on orthopaedic rehabilitation with emphasis on manual therapy techniques, neurodynamics, and pain neuroscience. His clinical expertise spans spinal rehabilitation, geriatric physical therapy, and sports injury management, with particular attention to evidence-based application in conservative treatment approaches.

His scholarly output (1995-2017) demonstrates consistent contributions to orthopaedic physical therapy through case reports on neurodynamic mobilization, therapeutic neuroscience education studies, and conservative management of spinal conditions in aging populations.
