Terry Bouton is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), specializing in the American Revolution era and democratic practices. He served as the 2012-2015 Presidential Teaching Professor at UMBC and holds the distinction of being an Organization of American Historians (OAH) Distinguished Lecturer.
