Terri Victoria Newman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Her research focuses on evaluating pharmaceutical outcomes in Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), with particular attention to treatment disparities and economic barriers. She holds a PharmD from Butler University School of Pharmacy and an MS in Health Services Research from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health.

Research Interests: Leveraging real-world data to address gaps in pharmacotherapy use, with emphasis on SCD treatment inequities. Current projects include exploring barriers to disease-modifying treatments through a grant-funded initiative.
Grants & Awards: Received grant support to investigate provider and patient barriers to SCD therapies. Affiliated with the PharmacoAnalytics and Outcomes Fellowship Program.
