Tereza Mosociova is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Section for Study of Sedimentary Basins within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on sedimentary basin analysis, structural geology, and paleoenvironmental reconstruction in Arctic regions, particularly Svalbard and the Barents Shelf.
- Doctoral Research Fellow, University of Oslo (2025)
- PhD Candidate, University of Oslo (2021–present)
- Student, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
Her work explores tectonostratigraphic evolution of rift basins, molecular fossils across the Permian-Triassic boundary, and digital geology through the Svalbox platform using drone photogrammetry. She investigates alluvial fan deposits, evaporite formations, and karstification processes in Arctic environments.
Recent publications show trends in Arctic geology, sedimentary basin analysis, and geoinformation systems. She contributes to understanding post-Permian biotic recovery, rift system dynamics, and climate change impacts in polar regions.
