Teresa Socha

Prof. Teresa Socha is a university professor at the Department of Individual Sports at the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, Poland. She holds a PhD, DSc, and the title of professor (Prof. AWF). Her research focuses on cognitive aspects of women's participation in sports, sexual dimorphism in sports performance, and the role of physical activity in preventing lifestyle diseases. She also explores age and experience-related factors influencing women's athletic mastery.

Teaching responsibilities include courses on women's sports, athletic training, Nordic walking, and obesity prevention. Consultations are held Mondays 5:00–5:45 PM at the AWF Katowice Stadium, room 110 (text messages preferred).

Her academic work bridges sports sciences and health, emphasizing practical applications in education and public health. Courses taught include specialized lectures on women's motor skills, cross-country skiing, and sports methodology.
