Teresa Pratt is Assistant Professor of Sociolinguistics at San Francisco State University's English Department, investigating how phonetic variations construct social meaning. Trained at Stanford and University of Duisburg-Essen.
Research analyzes articulatory settings, vowel spaces, and embodied linguistic practices across social contexts. Fieldwork includes documentation of California English through the Voices of California project.
