Teresa Harrison

Dr. Teresa Harrison is an Associate Professor of Management in the H-E-B School of Business and Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word. Her research focuses on diversity, immigrant workplace experiences, cultural values, and job choice preferences. She teaches courses such as Leading a Diverse Workforce (MBA), Organizational Behavior, Business Communication, and Strategic Management. Dr. Harrison emphasizes global perspectives and individual differences in her teaching to develop future leaders. Her recent projects include a social entrepreneurship initiative with the Shipibo Tribe in Peru, where her students helped expand the tribe's artisan business. She has also conducted workshops on managing diverse workforces and is a member of professional organizations like the Academy of Management and Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in Management and Organization Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her research interests further include technology’s impact on role overload, electronic recruiting, and social networking effects on diversity.
