María Guadalupe Alba Aguilar

María Guadalupe Alba Aguilar is a Lecturer at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), Campus Bajío. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master's in Administration from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), a Master's in Education from the University of LaSalle - Bajío, and is completing her doctoral thesis in Administration and Management at the Centro del Bajío University. Her work focuses on cross-border educational initiatives and community empowerment through business models.

Her research interests include entrepreneurship education, intercultural collaboration, and service-learning pedagogy. She led the UIW StartUp Beyond Borders project, a cross-border service-learning initiative connecting students from UIW San Antonio and UIW Bajío to support Guanajuato artisans. This project developed a replicable business model for traditional clay instrument artisans, enhancing economic impact and intercultural competence among students.
