Teona Kvirikashvili is an Academic Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Lucerne's Faculty of Law. She is currently pursuing a PhD on Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Law under Prof. Vagias Karavas. Previously, she served as Director of Studies for the CAS in Arbitration (Nov 2020–Sept 2022), a joint program with the University of Neuchâtel and Swiss Arbitration. Her academic background includes an LL.B. (Honors) from Tbilisi State University (2016) and a Master in International Law from the University of St. Gallen (2019), where she received the STARR Scholarship Award for academic excellence. Professional experience spans diplomacy (U.S. Embassy, British Embassy), humanitarian work (Georgian Red Cross), and international law practice (Hogan Lovells).
Research interests focus on AI’s legal implications, intellectual property, and legal sociology. Her work bridges technology, law, and international frameworks.
