Telelis Orestis

Telelis Orestis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. His research focuses on algorithm design, computational complexity, and approximation algorithms for computationally hard problems, with recent work emphasizing algorithmic game theory including mechanism design and auction algorithms.

Research interests include theoretical computer science fundamentals and applied algorithmic solutions for complex systems. His career includes postdoctoral research at University of Evry (France), Aarhus University (Denmark), and CWI Amsterdam (Netherlands), as well as research positions at University of Liverpool (UK). He received the Allain Bensoussan Fellowship supporting his research at CWI Amsterdam.
