Dr. Ted Kafala is an Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, affiliated with the Division of Communication, Art, and Media within the Undergraduate College. He holds a PhD from Ohio State University, along with MA degrees from Ohio State and City University of New York, and a BA from George Washington University.
His research focuses on the intersection of technology and art, including critical code studies, generative processes in experimental media, and the aesthetics of computing. He teaches courses such as Visual Communication Design, Cinematics and Motion Graphics, and iOS Application Development.
