Taylor Boutelle serves as a Lecturer at the East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC), joining in July 2020 as a legal fellow within the Health and Welfare Unit. Their work focuses on securing housing stability and healthcare access through benefits advocacy, with specialized emphasis on HIV+ and at-risk Transgender communities.

Research and Practice Focus:
Deeply committed to equitable health/legal care, housing justice, and prison abolition, Boutelle develops community partnerships with Trans-centered organizations like TGI Justice Project. Their practice integrates Health Law and Housing Law with intersectional LGBTQ+ Rights advocacy, specifically addressing systemic barriers faced by Transgender populations in social safety net systems. This work bridges clinical legal services with community-based movement lawyering.
