Tatyana Terzopoulos

Tatyana Terzopoulos is a Gemini Award-winning Assistant Professor in Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University's RTA School of Media. She holds a BAA from Toronto Metropolitan University, an MA in Communication and Culture from Toronto Metropolitan University/York University, and a PhD in Language, Culture, and Teaching from York University.

With 17 years of industry experience working with broadcasters like TVO and Corus Entertainment, her research centers on children's/youth media literacy, anti-racist pedagogy, and feminist media practices. She has developed media literacy projects with Branksome Hall and YTV.
