Kim Wilson, an alumna of the RTA School of Media (class of 1988), is currently Co-Director of the Centre for Scholars and Storytellers at Toronto Metropolitan University where she teaches Children's Television. She previously served as Creative Head of Children's and Youth Programming at the CBC, establishing a career focused on innovative children's media development.
Wilson specializes in creating high-quality educational content that merges broadcast television with interactive digital experiences and community events. Her expertise spans transmedia storytelling for preschool through tween audiences, public broadcasting innovation, and designing convergent programming models that prioritize both entertainment and developmental learning outcomes in children's media.
