Tatiana Reyes Carrillo

Tatiana Reyes Carrillo is a Researcher at Université de Technologie de Troyes (UTT), affiliated with the Institut Charles Delaunay. Her work focuses on integrating Design for Sustainability (DFS) through learning mechanisms, environmental knowledge transfer, and evaluating corporate sustainability maturity. She emphasizes aligning human behavior and design tools with ecological values to drive societal change toward sustainable development.

Academic Activities: She serves on the scientific council of the S.M.ART network and co-coordinates the ecodesign PST research program at UTT. She has contributed to standardization efforts, including the NF X30-264 standard on ecodesign approaches. Her roles include organizing workshops, serving on PhD juries, and reviewing projects for ANR, CIFRE, and regional initiatives.

Teaching: She leads courses in Ecodesign, Cleaner Technologies, Environmental Assessment, and supervises doctoral and Master’s students in socio-technical systems and environmental transitions. She pioneered the Materials Economy and Environment study area at UTT, recognized by industry clusters.

Research Focus: Current work explores creating societal 'fertile soil' for sustainable change through cultural triggers and human-evolution-driven design. She bridges ecological, technical, and social systems to address systemic sustainability challenges.
