Tarun Kanti Ghosh

Tarun Kanti Ghosh is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, specializing in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. His academic qualifications include a PhD from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (Chennai), M.Sc. from Visva-Bharati University, and B.Sc. from the University of Burdwan (1993).

His research explores quantum phenomena in low-dimensional systems, including:

• Electronic properties of atomically thin materials like graphene
• Transport mechanisms in magnetic waveguides
• Ultracold atomic superfluids and BEC-BCS crossover physics
• Vortex dynamics in quantum fluids
