Tarun Bhalla

Dr. Tarun Bhalla is an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University Medical Center and serves as Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is also Chief Clinical Officer and a pediatric anesthesiologist at Akron Children's Hospital. His roles include Director of Acute and Regional Pain, Director of the Pediatric Regional Anesthesia Fellowship, and Vice Chairman of Comprehensive Pediatric Pain Services. With over 50 peer-reviewed publications and multiple book chapters, he is an active scholar and educator. Dr. Bhalla has expanded pediatric pain services through clinical and academic leadership, organizing national/international workshops on pediatric regional anesthesia. He completed an MBA and contributes to media including US News & World Report and Sirius/XM Doctor Radio.
