Tara Bogota is a Lecturer in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Kean University’s College of Health Professions and Human Services. She holds an M.A. in Psychology with a focus on Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology, a B.A. in Psychology, and a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification.
Her expertise spans Yoga instruction, Mindfulness practices, Wellness promotion, and the development of educational curricula. She teaches courses including Yoga I, Yoga II, Foundations of Yoga, and Yoga Teacher Training and Methodology. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating inclusive, safe learning environments rooted in kindness, authenticity, and community building, as reflected in her mantra: 'Have a mind open to everything and attached to nothing.'
