Tara A. Bolden

Tara A. Bolden is a Professor with the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness at the University of New Brunswick and Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. She holds a cross-appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer with the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. With over 16 years of clinical and leadership experience, she specializes in Lung Transplantation and Respiratory Medicine, alongside expertise in strategic planning, innovation, and advanced nursing practice.

• Education: BA (Hons) and RN (EC) from Queen’s University and University of New Brunswick; Master of Nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Diploma from Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto; Certificate in Leadership & Management from the same faculty.

Her research interests focus on Respiratory Medicine, Lung Transplantation, and Clinical Leadership, with implications for health systems and advanced practice. At the University Health Network, she serves as Nurse Practitioner Lead, contributing to international forums and invited speaking engagements.
