Tanya P. Garcia, PhD is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the Gillings School of Public Health and Research Faculty in the UNC Neurology Huntington Disease Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She leads the Methods for INcomplete Data (MIND) Lab, focusing on statistical methods for handling censored, missing, or incomplete data in neurodegenerative disease progression studies.

- MS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, UC Berkeley
Research Interests: Specializing in High-Dimensional Variable Selection, Longitudinal Data Analysis, and Neurodegenerative Disease Modeling, her work develops reproducible statistical methods for Huntington's disease progression, improving clinical trial design and biomarker identification.
