Tanya Johnson is a Research and Instructional Services Librarian at the University of Connecticut Library and teaches legal research courses as an Adjunct Professor. She provides reference services to all library patrons and instructs in Advanced Legal Research, Research for Social Justice, and Diversity & Inclusion in the Legal Profession. Her professional work bridges library science with legal education.

- J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School
- M.L.I.S. from Rutgers University
Her research focuses on innovative legal research methodologies, game-based learning applications, and advancing DEI principles in both legal and library professions. While not a core faculty member in a traditional academic department, her instructional role contributes to legal education at UConn.
