Tanya Deneva

Prof. Tanya Deneva, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory at the Medical University of Plovdiv. She serves as head of the department and head of the Clinical Laboratory at University Hospital 'St. George'. Her research bridges clinical psychology with laboratory medicine through biomarker discovery.

Her research program focuses on stress biomarkers, vascular biomarkers, coagulation markers, oncoproteins, and salivary diagnostics for mental health. Current work investigates nature-based therapies through the RESONATE project.
