Tanvirul Hye

Tanvirul Hye, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Basic Sciences at Roseman University College of Medicine (RUCOM), Las Vegas. He transitioned to academia in 2024 after pharmaceutical industry experience, focusing on integrating clinical relevance into education. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and advanced degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

He has served on committees like the Student Affairs and Progression Committee at TTUHSC and contributed to peer review for journals like Phytotherapy Research.

Dr. Hye’s teaching focuses on pharmacology, and he has mentored numerous MD and PharmD students. His awards include the Outstanding Teacher of the Year and the M1 Foundational Studies Golden Apple Award. He actively participates in curriculum development and assessment policy at RUCOM, exploring AI integration in medical education.
