Tanveer Sharif

Tanveer Sharif, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. His research focuses on metabolism-based precision medicine for aggressive brain tumors, particularly medulloblastoma (MB) and glioblastoma (GBM).

Dr. Sharif investigates metabolic vulnerabilities and tumor heterogeneity using patient-derived models to identify novel therapeutic targets. His work integrates spatial transcriptomics and proteomics to study tumor molecular biology.
