Tanja Lunić is a Research Associate at the Institute of Physiology and Biochemistry 'Ivan Đaja' within the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. Her career progression includes roles as a Research Trainee (2019–2022) and current Research Associate (2022–present), focusing on immunology.
- Education: Biochemistry (BSc, 2013–2017, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade), Immunobiology (MSc, 2018–2019; PhD, 2019–2023, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade).
Research Interests center on the immunomodulatory potential of natural (e.g., moss extracts) and synthetic compounds, alongside studies of autoimmune processes in diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. Her doctoral work emphasized in vitro and in silico analysis of Hypnum cupressiforme Hedw extracts.
