Tanja Joona (Dr.Soc.Sci.), Docent in Public International Law at the University of Lapland (2020–), serves as a Senior Researcher at the Arctic Centre (2000–) and Principal Investigator for the REBOUND consortium (2023–2029) under Finland’s Strategic Research Council. She is a Fulbright Scholar (Arctic Initiative IV, 2024–2026) and former Arctic Five Chair in Just Green Transition (2022–2024). As Finnish Institutional Leader for the EU H2020 JUSTNORTH project (2020–2023), she bridges Arctic sustainability with global frameworks.
