Tanja Giessler is a Lecturer at the Institute for German Linguistics within the Department of German Studies and Arts at Philipps University of Marburg. Her work focuses on pragmatic linguistics, particularly at the semantics-pragmatics interface, and she has contributed extensively to teaching and curriculum development in German linguistics.
