Prof. Tanja Domej is a Professor of Civil Procedure Law, Private Law, International Private Law, and Comparative Law at the University of Zurich's Faculty of Law. She leads the Domej Chair, overseeing research and teaching in procedural law, international legal frameworks, and comparative methodologies. Her academic activities span undergraduate courses in Civil Procedural Law and Data Protection Law, as well as doctoral colloquia fostering advanced legal research.
Her research focuses on transnational legal challenges, including cross-border dispute resolution mechanisms and the intersection of data protection with procedural rights. She collaborates internationally, exemplified by a 2025 joint seminar with the University of Konstanz on international commercial dispute resolution. Prof. Domej has authored influential publications such as the 2024 report on the German Lawyers' Congress and a 2021 treatise on civil procedure reforms.
