Andreas Piekenbrock

Professor Dr. Andreas Piekenbrock is a leading German legal scholar specializing in civil law, insolvency law, and banking law. Since 2009, he has held the Chair of Civil Law and Insolvency Law at Heidelberg University’s Faculty of Law, where he also served as dean of studies (2010–2014) and director of the Center for Lawyer-Oriented Legal Education.
