Tania Roskams is a Professor at the KU Leuven, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Imaging & Pathology. She serves as head of the Translational Cell & Tissue Research unit and is a member of the KU Leuven Cancer Institute (LKI) and various academic councils.
- Research focuses on liver cancer, chronic liver diseases, and immunometabolism.
- Supervises projects on macrophage heterogeneity, cardiovascular pathology, and tissue engineering.

Her recent studies explore YAP/TAZ signaling in steatotic liver disease, antigen-presenting macrophages in metabolic dysfunction, and novel decellularization protocols for pulmonary allografts. She also investigates exercise impacts on viral myocarditis and lipid metabolism in pancreatic cancer.
