Tania Kouteva

Tania Kouteva is Full Professor of English Linguistics at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf and a Professorial Research Associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She has held visiting professorships and research fellowships at prestigious institutions including the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Radboud University, and the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Studies.

• Research Focus: Grammaticalization, Linguistic Typology, Language Evolution, Discourse Grammar, and Creole Studies.
