Tamsin Nelson is a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria Law School since 2003. She holds an LLB (Hons) from Lancaster University (1995), completed the Legal Practice Course (1999), and became a solicitor in 2001 after a training contract. She currently leads undergraduate programmes in Law with Business and Law with International Business, and teaches civil litigation, professional conduct, and inquests modules. Her research focuses on experiential learning, particularly using standardized clients to assess legal interviewing skills, and explores the role of policy clinics in law reform and social justice.
