Dr. Tammy Smith is an Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Education Chair at Belhaven University's College of Education, Department of Elementary Education. With over 32 years of experience in public schools as a teacher and principal, she contributes expertise in teacher preparation, educational leadership, and innovative educational models. She joined Belhaven University in 2024, focusing on curriculum development and mentoring teacher candidates.
