Tammy Sherrow is an Associate Professor and BN Coordinator at Mount Royal University. She holds an MN from the University of Calgary and a BScN from the University of Saskatchewan. Her research focuses on premature infant care, neonatal outcomes, and innovative teaching methods like the flipped classroom. She co-authored the acclaimed book Preemie Care: A Guide to Navigating the First Year with Your Premature Baby (2019) and has published on topics including neonatal feeding management and active learning strategies. With over 30 years of nursing experience, she has worked clinically, managed teams, and conducted research on preterm infants’ post-discharge challenges. Her teaching spans over 20 years in college and university settings.
Her scholarly contributions include presentations at national and international conferences on neonatal care and flipped classroom approaches. She actively participates in neonatal research collaborations and emphasizes evidence-based practice in education and healthcare.
